Job Overview

PIXO VR is searching for a Product Manager to join our team. The Product Manager will oversee and grow our product; including owning competitive analysis, customer input and feedback, product roadmap creation and maintenance, and go to market activities. The Product Manager will be central to the strategic vision of our solutions and business, working closely with the executive and functional teams to fully understand the customers’ needs, from what’s working and what isn’t.  In addition, a full understanding of the market, that should lead to a strategic vision for our product and plans to address that proactively.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the executive team to refine and articulate the strategic vision for the company and its technology, harmonizing platform development and content creation workstreams
  • Manage requirements-setting and prioritization of investments through market research and direct engagement with current and prospective customers
  • Develop, validate, own, and maintain an actionable product roadmap that will achieve progress toward the company’s vision, ultimately surprising and delighting target segment(s) and producing meaningful results for the company
  • Guide and inform go-to-market activities based on research and market engagement to set pricing, placement (channels), positioning, and promotion in cooperation with the Executive and Sales and Marketing teams
  • Act as the face of the product, speaking at industry events, conducting hands-on market diligence, and engaging with strategic accounts
  • With the CEO and leadership team, rally the PIXO team around a shared vision for technology and cooperate cross-functionally to orchestrate progress across Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 4+ years in software product management or product strategy 
  • B2B enterprise software experience, SaaS experience highly preferred
  • Experience working with subscription products or services, particularly platform based
  • Experience in startup culture, wearing many hats and practicing flexibility highly preferred
  • Excellent communicator to senior-level executives; able to adapt communication styles across audience and stakeholder groups and fine tune value proposition accordingly
  • Experience producing wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user interaction diagrams to support ideation and customer-driven design
  • User experience focused with relevant experience improving and optimizing UX/UI
  • Experience with different project lifecycle methodologies
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a cross-functional team while remaining detail-oriented
